Bedroom Re-Vamp

This is how our bedroom used to look, I love the soothing gray on the walls, and the chartreuse curtains are heavenly when the sun shines through in the mornings.

But that artwork....tired, that mismatched bedside furniture....like a college dorm, and those tinsy-weensy lamps...not good for much of anything.

So........

With a little re-vamp of the artwork (same canvases) and a little switcheroo of the furniture from the guest room, plus some inexpensive lamps from my favorite store (yay Target!) here's the finished room at a cost of only $30! Woo Hoo!!!

Time Flies!

WoW! It's been quite a while since I've found the time to post. The month of May always seems to be crazy around here, and June has been just as bad this year! Hopefully soon I'll be able to post more 'fun pics' of our trips to Mississippi and Carlsbad, NM in the near future. Until then....here are some recent nature shots....enjoy!

Happy Birthday Roy!

It's a little late, but Happy Birthday to my awesome husband, Roy! This weekend he turned the big 3-0! I threw a BBQ at our house in celebration of the occasion, and made a golf themed cake (his favorite hobby)!
